Recall Riot is a vocabulary game from Langleash. The game is designed to work without an account or a game server.
What the app keeps on your iPhone
Recall Riot saves the player name you choose, language and topic choices, game settings, earned stars, purchases made with in-game currency, stage results, and word-learning progress on your device. This lets the game remember your journey and bring words back for review. You can play without creating an account.
The current app does not send that game profile to Langleash servers. We do not use it for advertising or analytics.
Microphone and speech recognition
Speaking is the main way to answer during a battle. If you grant microphone and speech-recognition permission, the app uses Apple's speech recognition on the device to turn live audio into words for the game to check. The app requires on-device recognition and does not switch to server recognition when on-device recognition is unavailable.
Recall Riot does not save or upload your voice recordings. Live audio and recognition results are used during play; the saved profile records learning progress rather than audio or a transcript of everything you said. You can revoke microphone or speech-recognition permission in iPhone Settings. The speaking feature will then be unavailable until you grant access again.
Sharing and third parties
The current game has no account, advertising network, analytics service, or cloud save. Its speech feature uses Apple's on-device Speech framework. We do not share your game profile with Langleash's teaching platform, and playing Recall Riot does not create a Langleash account. If you choose to follow a link to Langleash, that website has its own privacy policy.
This website and email support
These static Recall Riot pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or a sign-up form. When you visit them, the web host may process standard request information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the pages. If you email us, your email provider and ours process your message and address so we can respond. Please avoid sending voice recordings or sensitive personal information in support messages.
Retention and deletion
Your game profile remains on your iPhone until you delete the app or erase the device. Deleting Recall Riot removes its local app data from the device; device backups, if enabled, are managed by your iPhone and Apple. Because the current game does not keep a server copy of your profile, we cannot recover it or delete it remotely. Support emails are kept only as needed to handle the request and any applicable recordkeeping obligations; you can ask us to delete a support conversation.
Your choices
- Choose which name, languages, and word topics to use in the game.
- Turn microphone and speech-recognition permissions off in iPhone Settings.
- Delete the app to remove its local profile from your device.
- Contact us about a privacy question or a support message you sent.
Changes
If Recall Riot adds features that change its data practices, we will update this page and its effective date. We will also update the App Store privacy information where required.
